Roasted Fennel, Brie and Cardamon Tart from Barossa Mag is perfect if you want a new way to enjoy the sweetness of roased fennel from the farm. It also looks beautiful so it’s perfect for a dinner party.

Roast Cauliflower Soup from Zaitoun, Yasmin Khan’s excellent cookbook, with warming spices, great colour and a crunch of flaked almonds is absolutely delicious. Even my baby likes it.

Despite it being Winter, lettuce is in season so this Lettuce Salad with Warm Dressing from Taste of Home could be tempting. Add in any other veggies you like, or make extra dressing to use on warm roasted veggies to make the most of the recipe.  

Finally, for a bit of fun, we have BBC Good Food’s Pumpkin Risotto kid’s recipe. With our super sweet pumpkins this week, it’s a great way to get kids interested in cooking (and eating veg).
